The Ubiquitous New Year Summary Of 2011

‎2011 what a year.

“The year of the rollercoaster” Tallulah would call it.

This year has been her most challenging to date and she admits there have been some really hard and dark moments, but there have also been many more fantastic ones.

Starting the year touring Australia with friend and virtuoso cellist, Joanna Quail, for six weeks, releasing her second album Alive on her own label, Transducer, which was in fact a 150 page book and multi-media arts project, followed by 28 days of touring all around the UK, and a UK festival tour.

Signing a publishing deal with Malcom Dunbar and Paul Barton, of Pledge Music and getting songs synced in two British films, Tooting Broadway and Truth Or Dare, due out this year.

Organising an extraordinary art installation and show at the Tabernacle, and headlining the Union Chapel with a nine piece band and meeting me, her UK manager, Melanie Gow.

Ending the year by touring Germany for a month, meeting Fritz Kring, her German manager, accepting to move to Berlin and working with his company, Peripherique.

Finally after years of writing and touring with nothing but herself to guide her, as 2011 year drew to a close she found she had attracted an incredible team around her.

So watch out 2012, if Tallulah can do all the above on her own I am so excited to see what we can all achieve with the powerhouse of Malcom Dunbar and Paul Barton of Pledge Music, the Peripherique team; Fritz Kring, Rekha Ober, Raphael Schemel, and Carl and Max de Stromer watching her back and supporting her.

2012 is set to be her biggest year yet, as Tallulah says, “Bring it on, I am ready.”

Look forward to it, happy New Year to you all and may it be all you hope for it and more.  Look forward to sharing it with you every step of the way.
